The 2026 ACCE EdMedia International Conference

Presented Beyond Access: Why Corporate AI Training Requires Systemic Equity, Not Just Opportunity at EdMedia 2026, examining how voluntary AI training models systematically exclude frontline and hourly workers through structural barriers related to time, information, managerial discretion, and digital infrastructure. Drawing on organizational justice theory and workplace learning research, this presentation proposed a four-dimensional equity framework, resource equity, process equity, outcome equity, and systemic accountability, to reposition AI literacy as a shared organizational responsibility rather than an individual opportunity.
