This session, presented by Betsy Lewis, Cassandra Buffington-Bates, and Justin Chevalier, focused on strategies to enhance collaboration among doctoral students in distributed learning environments. Attendees examined the importance of peer interactions in building supportive academic communities that foster inquiry and practice.

MIRS inspires and supports newcomers to scholarly communication, encouraging submissions from graduate and undergraduate students and early professionals.

I had the honor of delivering an engaging presentation on my ongoing research, which explores one of my key interests at the intersection of multimedia innovation and healthcare. The presentation, titled Digital Storytelling for Health Promotion: A Novel Approach to Enhance Well-Being and Communication, focused on how digital storytelling can be used to support patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. My research aims to promote a forward-thinking approach to communication and advocacy in healthcare, ultimately striving to improve quality of life outcomes.
